The First Responders 5K Run & Walk Foundation celebrates First Responders who put their lives on the line daily to keep our communities safe and honors those who have fallen in the line of duty. While these First Responders give to our community on a daily basis, it is now our time to give back. Founder, Michael Pasco, started his career as a Volunteer Firefighter in 2022 and wanted to give back in another way. Pasco organized The Wichita Officers Down 5K in 2015 and 2016 with a goal to bring the community together on “just a day” rather than just when a First Responder is killed in The Line of Duty, to show support to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and who Continue to serve our Communities, Pasco then set out and created The First Responders 5K Run & Walk Foundation in 2022 to Bring back a First Responders Themed 5K Run and Help Raise Money for Local First Responders.
